I can't believe how many people can't comprehend the fact that Ewan isn't playing an American in "Down With Love" AND his fake Southern accent for Zip Martin is SUPPOSED to be fake! It's a put on, he's a fraud, get it? I've even read interviews in which Ewan has stated the accent is intentionally inauthentic. By the way, real Alabamians (not natives of Scotland) have commented that his accent is quite good.
