The film is in my opinion, while obviously not oscar material, an excellent showcase for the incredible Gene kelly, even at 68!
Electric Light Orchestras' music is obviously NOT in this reviewers collection, (maybe he skipped the 70's, 80' and 90's?)
The film is meant to be pure fantasy, entertainment and a chance to see the mastery of Gene Kelly combined with some of the eras' best artists - INCLUDING ELO
Songs such as 'The Fall', 'Suspended in Time' and 'Don't Walk Away' will be favourites for many years I should imagine.
The film was made as fantasy entertainment and does just what it says on the tin.
If you want more, go to Cannes!
