I just saw this movie on cable, and I was pleasently surprised! Sure, it's not the smartest, nor the most original of its kind, but then it acts as the perfect two hour time burner for those just looking to "enjoy" a film for what it is...not what it should/could be.
Steven Seagal isn't--nor has he ever--been the greatest actor in the world. He just knows how to do good action flicks for action fans. He knows his niche, and he makes no attempt to do anything else. For that, I commend him. Sometimes, actors shouldn't "stretch."
