tighten up

I enjoy the movies, too but at the very least, get your facts straight before you offer a review. The Epstein brothers wrote the screenplay for "Casablanca" not the man & woman you have listed; and, there is no Peter Heinreid in the film as you have stated. Paul Heinreid played the pivotal role of Victor Laszlo.

That and...

This is entirely nitpicking, but the review seems to confuse a list of 'favorite' films with a list of 'greatest' films. You may consider yourself unable to make the latter because of the great unknowns out there, but a 'favorite' is in the eye of the beholder, and everyone should be able to make a list of favorite movies.
Just being pedantic.

About the credits
| Added by David on 2005-09-01 05:32:44 |
Thanks for pointing out the typo. Point of fact, the issue with the credits is only one of ommission, the original people listed wrote the play upon which the film was based (consider it story by I suppose, but for all I know the play has much more material that ended up in the screenplay). Of course we all know the Epsteins are famous for this script. We've updated them, and corrected the typo on Paul Henreid's name.

Yeah, this was one of the more pretentious and contrary reviews I wrote. I think when I wrote it originally I was just trying to sound smart and educated, but I don't really remember. As for the typos, I stole all my info from IMDb and I probably didn't do enough research to see the Epstein bros. listed underneath.
