Irreversible is one bad film. It's amateurishly filmed in a gimmicky style more erratic than what was seen in The Blair Witch Project. It is also really nothing more than an exercise in tasteless exploitation that is perhaps the most uncomfortable film that I have ever viewed. Belluci and Cassell should be ashamed that they ever agreed to be in this trash.

Ugly and in the end with nothing to say but "I can swing a camera and feel like an artist." I have no issue with challenging, demanding even feral films .. but by god the better be pretentious and self important.
