A painful moviegoing experience. Full of lame pratfalls and tired, insanely inept jokes, 'The Pink Panther' is pretty much unbearable. Steve Martin does what he can (The cast as a whole does) but since he is the cowriter he must take some of the blame for the material on display. Don't bother with this needless retread.
