So it's getting near the end of what's seemed like a three-day ordeal, as I sit there being forced to watch 'How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days,' and Kate Hudson has just told her editor that she can't write the article because she really likes this guy, and her editor is saying she MUST write it, and "I want copy on my desk in twenty-four hours" and all that, and I'm thinking--she got the idea for this article in the first place by hearing in detail exactly how, when and under what circumstances her friend drove a guy away. This friend is the sole source, practically, of her losing-a-guy tips. Why can't she just interview the friend, write this frigging article already, and keep dating Matthew McConaughey? And then came the four thousandth lyrical interlude, so I shot myself.
