I found 'Doom' to be a more enjoyable video game adaptation than either of the two Resident Evil films. The Rock gives a wink-wink performance, over-acting and obviously enjoying himself while doing so. The film keeps the action coming every few minutes and I loved the first-person sequence that mimics the game. I wanted the sequence to last longer it provided so much fun.
Overall, 'Doom' is far better than one might expect and that says something when video game adaptations are a dime a dozen.
