No one cares about actors you claim to know, just review the damn movie.

He reviewed the movie and said it was crap. Don't be jealous that you don't live in LA Walsh.

The part about LA clearly was not needed.

that's because Eric is not Eric.

i think alot of the people leaving comments on this site are just the reviewers trying to complement their own reviews. it's kind of pathetic. what the hell does living in la have to do with anything? methinks eric is mr. chung in disguise.

this review was just plain bad. in the future he should focus less on giving detailed backdrops into the resumes of actors and more insight into the movie.

when someone open his or her review with an improperly punctuated sentence, it kinda turns me off. so far this site just seems like a poor copycat of other ones.

1/5 for movie-gurus.com

Sorry "Alex". I am who I am. It's really simple. "Ralph" complains about this reviewer mentioning knowing an actor he knows. You click on Cheung's name and it says he lives in LA so chances are he knows actors. Big deal.

Actually the comment about the circumstances of his attendance of the film is germaine in this instance... he's letting you know that he didn't want to see the film in the first place. I suppose that's a way of admitting this isn't his favorite genre, and he was not predisposed to wanting to see it.

If you *have* seen the film, the review is pretty much exactly right... this film was inept. I didn't hate it quite as much as the reviwer did, but it was still a major disappointment at the time.

More importantly, this review offers a really interesting take on the theme of the film.

Lastly, the critics of the site do tend to read each others reviews and sometimes comment on them, but they don't typically use pseudonyms to do so. There's over a thousand reviews on the site, and I can tell you that the reviewers categorically do not go into the reviews and post anonymous praise for their own reviews Alex... err Arod... err, whoever you are.

You're certainly welcome to your opinion of the site, and of the review, as well as to your anonymity. However, if you do have criticism, the only type that ends up being worth the bits it occupies on the server is the fair and constructive variety.
