I completely agree with you regarding Greengrass and his overusage of the blurry handheld shots. That almost singlehandily brought the film down. While Supremacy is still a good action film, for my money Doug Liman's 'Bourne Identity' is a more entertaining action thriller.

Greengrass is notorious in the UK for his direction and the Brit movie buffs threw a fuss when they found out he was directing.

Just saw this film last night and must say I would've have thoroughly enjoyed the movie a whole lot more if I did not read Ludlum's book first. I mean come on, how much different can you get? Nonetheless, it was still entertaining.

I've read two of the three books so far (Identity and Supremacy) as they have been re-released in-sync with the films, and I thought Identity stuck fairly close to the source material. However, like Carl has said, I heard that Supremacy is VERY different from the book. I am still eager to see it when it is finally released in the UK.

One thing I did hate (I guess I can state this since you wrote it in your review) is the fact that they killed off his girlfriend/wife (she is his wife in the book). Also I did not like that Conklin died in the first film and was in the second book. I can't even see how Ludlum or his family ever agreed to these adaptations. Still make decent movies though. I'd given this movie the same rating and you'll be adamantly surpirsed by my rating for 'Identity.'
