This got rave reviews. 96% positive on Rotten Tomatoes last time I checked, with an average rating of 8.5/10, which is quite extraordinary. Doc Ock was my favorite villain from the series as a child -- hopefully the next installment will feature Venom.
I can't wait to see this - unfortunately it doesn't open up in the UK for another whole month.

I don't know how this film could possibly be anything but amazing, especially considering it's the best-reviewed movie of the year thus far. Can't wait to see it.

And with SII, they managed to get the great Alvin Sargent to work on the screenplay. That alone raises my interest.

SM2 has made over 60 million in two days, likely to have 130 mil. plus for the five day weekend, possibly as high as 160-175. I wonder if it'll overtake Shrek 2 for number 1 of the year.

It will easily surpass Shrek 2, I mean 40 million dollars on a Wednesday, that has to say something. I'm expecting another $400 million dollar flick.

My summation : 10 min of action and the rest is emotional drama.
It's spiderman, If I wanted to see a soap opera I wouldn't have shelled out 8 quid.
If there's a message to be sent across then please don't use a comic book character to do it.
