I saw that and was surprised at how good it was, since Lazenby's Bond is always considered to be so horrible. I thought the self-referential opening was a good setup for what was to come. Not my favorite but definitely underrated and better than many of the dire entries into the series.

the review was well written though i really do not agree with the points made, i feel Goldfinger is yet another film to show how great Bond is as a dominant pig headed and how England rules over all. Though over all it was a bearable film, i felt the messages and values it shares with it's audience are wrong and completely disagree with them
